A photo-jouralisitc approach to capturing your day.
Capturing the finer details, moments and emotions throughout your day. Your individual story is told through the photographs of your day, in a relaxed, natural & candid style.
Engagement photography sessions are an awesome way for us to get to know each other, and to experience first-hand the relaxed and candid way we shoot.
These sessions last 1-3 hours and are usually scheduled around ‘golden hour’. (the hour before the sun sets, or early in the morning as it rises) This is the most ideal light for portraits.
We can head to the beach, a forrest, an urban alleyway, basically anywhere you’d like!
VIDEOGRAPHY
A short, creative & candid film capturing all the best moments of your day.
You will receive a short film that is easy to watch & share with friends & family. Our highlights films are the furthest thing from a long & boring traditional wedding videography.
The parts you don’t want to forget. The entire ceremony proceedings + all the speeches from the reception as separate video files.
It’s easy to get lost in the moment during your Wedding Day, heck, we encourage it! However, after the day, the words spoken during the ceremony and speeches can be forgotten. Add this option to ensure no words are forgotten.
The most common feedback I receive from my lovely couples is; “We barley even noticed you were there!”
To me, this is what I most love to hear; I blend in. I get amongst you and your guests to capture truly spontaneous moments.
If we can’t manage to find a time, or distance prevents meeting up, I’m always available to chat via phone or email or we can arrange a Skype or FaceTime call.
I start shooting as early as you need, and stay at the reception until you (the Bride & Groom) depart, I only ask that you give me a beer or two, it’s a long day!
I’m a smitten kitten over a good sparkler exit (or whatever exit style you decide on)
I do however carefully select premium quality songs for use in your wedding film from sites such as Musicbed.com, SongFreedom.com, AudioNetwork. The licensing fees for this music is part of our wedding packages.
This process can take me many, many hours, as the “perfect song” is rarely the first one I play. That being said, I am more than happy for you to listen to music from the chosen sites, and pick your own music for your wedding film. Or if you happen to be a musician or recording artist, you can certainly supply your own recorded music.
Wedding Photography – I shoot stills on Sony A7 cameras, with a wide range of prime lenses and the occasional flash for dance floor photos. Your photographs are delivered in high-deffiniton for printing, along with smaller size copies for email & web purposes.
Travel to wedding venues close to Adelaide is included. Some regional areas may require a small additional fee to cover my travel time and/or accomodation costs.
Overseas Destination Weddings are Free of Charge. I only ask that you cover flights and accomodation. Please get in touch, we can discuss the finer details of how that all works.
Wedding Videography – I, Nathan Story + another videographer (if required) from my network team of skilled professionals with be present on the day.
If (God forbid) I become unavailable for the day (only severe sickness or death will stop us, it hasn’t happened yet), I will enlist another professional from my network of professional photographers & videographers within Adelaide.
